Paramount+ has released the film trailer to Love in Taipei, a new film based on Abigail Hing Wen’s novel Loveboat, Taipei.
Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen was first published in 2020 and follows Ever Wong, a young American woman whose parents send her to a cultural immersion program in Taipei, where she falls in love. A love triangle ensues, and Ever must choose between the affections of two different young men.
The film stars Ashely Liao as Ever, Ross Butler as Rick and Nico Haraga as Xavier. The film is directed by Arvin Chen and will premier on Paramount+ on 10 August.
